Today, I kick off a new series that specifically talks about what I’m up to work-wise. I’ve made it a policy not to over-publicize games and stories that haven’t come out yet, primarily because I’ve been burned on that before. It’s tricky to manage because everybody’s promoting, but sometimes deals go bad or businesses fold or what have you. Hence, progress reports. Not promising you anything, but these are some projects I’m working on, have been involved with, and may be coming to a book store, game store, or online retailer near you.

Hard Times Have Come to Dragon City
Retired adventurer Max Gibson has seen better times. Ever since he and his treasure-hunting friends struck it big and called it quits a decade back, it seems like things have slid downhill.
It’s hard enough to scrape by in a sprawling mountain city in which elves and dwarves live higher than humans in every way. It’s worse at night, when the groans of the zombies laying an eternal siege to the city provide a ceaseless reminder that the Dragon Emperor himself is the only thing that keeps the hordes of hungry dead from storming the walls.
Hard Times in Dragon City is available now in eBook and Print formats at DriveThruFiction.com!

DC Comics’ New 52 has had about a year and a half to find its footing and one of the nicer aspects of the “reboot” is DC’s revived focus on supporting the supernatural side of the DC universe. Along those lines the famed Justice League has been divvied up into numerous teams (and titles) with each focusing on different aspects of the JL’s mythos. While Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and their closest friends handle the big threats the Justice League International team stumbles about handling other… less important… threats. So who handles the ghosts and goblins of the DC universe? That would be Justice League Dark.

The long-delayed conclusion to the Redemption Trilogy — in which four heroes face their world’s most dangerous villain.
In 2006, White Silver Publishing released Into the Reach, the first novel of the Redemption Trilogy. In 2007, Departure followed. Soon after, White Silver folded, and the third book, Regaining Home, was never published. A draft of the manuscript is complete but was never finished.
In 2010, White Silver released the rights to publish the novels back to Alana Abbott, and now Alana — with the team of editor extraordinaire Shawn Merwin and amazing artist Lindsay Archer — is making plans to finish Regaining Home for release as an e-book.
